Are your employees earning more than 25% of their salary?

The average worker misses 75% or more of the information presented in meetings. Do you tell customers what they want or do you let them tell you?  If you’re not listening, that’s a lot of lost opportunities and mistakes.

Did you know that “customer loyalty” is the new metric for customer service?

Satisfied customers will go anywhere. Loyal customers are repeat customers and tell others.  Customers delight in being heard!

Does your staff live up to the company’s mission statement for openness and respect?

New research shows that companies who consistently demonstrated value and respect by listening to their employees had FOUR times faster revenue growth!

Would your family members come to you first if they had a problem on their mind?

If lecturing or advice-giving is your way of solving problems at home, you may tune out a precious audience. There are plenty of gangs and cults willing to tune them in.

Do you sit down and spend family dinners together (without the TV blasting) at least four times a week?

The dinner table may be the only time we have to connect with family members. These days family dinners average three nights a week or less.

Would your family members give you an “A” in listening?

Go ahead and ask them! You’re probably in for a shock.

If you answered “No” to most of these questions, your listening could use of bit of Zen.
